$100,000 has been awarded to the Workforce Partnership of Putnam County!
The grant helps continue the partnership’s efforts to prepare, connect and grow a highly skilled manufacturing workforce by aligning education/training with needs of local businesses.
This is a huge achievement for the WPPC which began about one year ago! It’s great having our workforce strategies in Putnam County recognized and supported by the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation. Only 26 programs in the state were selected for funding. The WPPC is a true asset to our economic development work and we value them as a partner in our office.
