The Building Doctor is coming to Putnam County for the first time! Do you own or maintain an older commercial building, church, public building or home built before 1960?
Would you like to know how to preserve its historical features, while solving common old-building problems?
During the free Building Doctor Clinic, old-building experts from the Ohio State Historic Preservation Office can help you make informed decisions about:
- Roofs, drainage, and wet basements
- Peeling paint or flaking plaster
- Deteriorating masonry
- Performing old building maintenance

Attendance at the June 25 evening program is required in order to have a site visit.
The local host for the program is the Putnam County CIC, questions may be directed to 419-523-5595.
The Building Doctor is a program of the State Historic Preservation Office of the Ohio History Connection.
We are thrilled to be working with Putnam County native Andy Verhoff, Ohio History Fund and Outreach Manager for SHPO/Ohio History Connection, to bring the program to the community.
