Weigand Construction breaks ground on new Ohio headquarters

June 2, 2026 – Weigand Construction, a fourth generation, family-owned business leader in construction management services, broke ground today on its new Ohio headquarters, a 9,000 square foot professional office building at 103 Liberty Drive, Ottawa, located in the Village of Glandorf.

Weigand will provide preconstruction services, general contracting, design-build, and Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) services to the regional market from its new offices. In addition, it will continue to use its local field workforce to provide concrete, carpentry, and masonry trade work. The company has two existing offices operating in Fort Wayne and South Bend, IN.

Weigand considered numerous sites in communities around Ohio for its project. Director of Operations, Cody Michaud, said the people and the values in Putnam County are what drew them to the Liberty Drive business park. The Putnam County Community Improvement Corporation facilitated the site selection.

“We’re excited to begin our next chapter in a region that many Weigand employees proudly call home,” said Mandy Glenn, Business Development Executive. Glenn said the facility brings Weigand closer to clients in Northwest and West Central Ohio, allowing the company to enhance client support, build new partnerships, and continue investing in the growth and development of the region.

Since 1906, Weigand has been a trusted partner of healthcare providers, educational institutions, manufacturers and commercial businesses throughout Northwest Ohio.
