Wellness 4 All set to open in Ottawa

Dana Miller, owner, Wellness 4 All

Dana Miller never stops learning.

Since starting her journey in holistic health and wellness two years ago, she launched Positive Health and Fitness, earned numerous certifications, began nutrition coaching, and is continually adding new services for people ready to tackle their health holistically.

Today, Miller took another step in her journey announcing Wellness 4 All, her first brick and mortar business location! The business will open at 241 E. Second St., downtown Ottawa, featuring a multi-faceted approach with a host of businesses under one roof, all focused on holistic wellness and longevity. Miller will continue Positive Health and Fitness providing personal training and education in homes and fitness centers. At Wellness 4 All, she will offer nutrition and hormone health coaching, full body red light therapy, compression therapy and a medical grade infrared sauna with customized settings for weight loss, heart health, detox, mobility, recovery and other needs. Compression therapy will be an option as well, this supports athlete recovery, circulation, arthritis, fibromyalgia etc.

Creating space for professionals who want to bring wellness services under one roof at Wellness 4 You is a priority for Miller, and the first tenant has already committed. Nicole Schwab, R.N., MSN., will open Vital Infusion and Med Spa in the center. The primary service will be IV nutrition therapy, which Schwab said helps the body absorb vitamins, is used by athletes, helps with wellness during the winter, can boost immune system and fight infection. “It’s wellness from the inside out,” Schwab said.

Miller isn’t done adding wellness services in the new building… she’s seeking other wellness professionals to join the group, including massage therapy, acupuncture and physical therapy. “I was always searching for healthy options for my family when they had a need, and this has proven to be one of the things that helped most.”

Miller holds certifications as a nutritional coach and personal/group trainer and is in the process of completing another hormone health course at the Integrative Institute of Nutrition. She’s also completing board certification as a functional medicine health coach. Schwab has been a nurse for 19 years, has a master of science in nursing and is certified in IV nutrition therapy and botox. She is looking forward to providing services close to home as well as the collaboration among local professionals.

Miller said she looks forward to developing a community of like-minded people searching for holistic resources and connecting people to a larger network of care. Improvements to the building interior will start soon with a plan to open in summer 2025.
